You'll need a hand getting it into a vehicle. The machine is super heavy, about 500 lbs. Machine is in really good shape, comes with demagnetize, 1 sealed and 2 slightly used reels of tape, tone reel, auto locator ii and printed manual, which is really hard to get. My goal was to get a 16 Track 2 head assembly, which you can easily do.

There are plenty of spare parts available on, etc. All the retro and record cards are included and in tact. Middle 16 Tracks are record able immediately, but it does need a head relapsing to get all 24 running.

This is the machine Neil young and pretty much every artist in the 70's and 80's recorded on. I replaced one circuit board came from a later model jh24 and do have the original part.

If you want that sound, this is it. It is also missing the tape slicing station on top of the head assembly but those are easy to come by if you can cut tape. Other than that, its all original parts.

He normally deals with Atari's but knows tape machines well. All lights work on the Tracks, deck and auto locator, pinch roller spins nicely. I can also refer you to my tech in San Rafael who has been helping me out.
