It is working well but needs interior exterior cleaning plays and records both systems the reel and 8 track. Good sound as is but volume and tone knobs make scratchy noise upon turning which is an indication that they need cleaning.
Vintage made in japan, tube Akai 1800L reel to reel and 8 track deck. The machine is missing the head cover. The case is in good condition no rust on the latches and hinges.
Approximate dimensions 15x14x10 inches. I've been watching one head cover for this model deck on but I changed my mind and decided to sell instead of keeping. Approximate weight 48 pounds.
