Glad to answer or attempt whatever questions I can. Un-packed weight 16 pounds. Did not check record function. Hooked it up my personal stereo system and was able to play recorded tapes see below.
Vintage Akai GXC-510D vertical stereo cassette deck tape recorder, as pictured. The not-so-good: - minor, but mentioning it here heard a squeak when playing tape. Hooked up to my personal stereo and was unable get sound from right side speaker.
As seen in listing pic 10, no sound registering on right side meter. Strongly suspect probably a belt.
