Details:

I used the ac line cord for test. However, it would make an excellent parts Donner if you can find one with a pristine cabinet, as mechanically and electronically its very good. Both battery cover and power cord are intact latch, a holster for the microphone is present. Size: 12 x uses approx.

The reel and head covers are intact, fit into position correctly. The good: I have tested it. The bad: case has been damaged on back, and can be seen in an image above. The battery compartment needs work see image above.

Due to its age, I imagine it could use a capacitor or two replaced the head was cleaned prior this and tape that used old. I haven't the time to invest in it any longer reels. Shipping notice: apartment dwellers: make sure your unit number or letter is included in ship-to address they will not deliver. All the controls seem to work as they should.

In conclusion: I don't think you can restore it to its original glory. The terminal block has been knocked loose or is broke.

Its rare, i've never seen one quite like it before. I can not furnish any reels for this, had to borrow them from another recorder test it.

Here are the results: I recorded music from a radio using its microphone and played it back. The sound was not sharp and crystal clear, but acceptable.
