I was able to hook it up a power supply and despite the drop, unit actually plays forward backwards. At some point this recorder was dropped and cracked the battery pack on inside part of player. This is a vintage Nivico portable 2-speed reel to tape recorder. Comes with microphone, earphone, carrying strap and manual the bottom part of original box.
No sound comes out of the dual speaker system though. Model runs on 9 volts , c cells, or through an ac adapter. It will need a new 'c' cell battery pack. It will need some work to get going.
