Unfortunately it will not rewind or fast forward. The compartment that holds the mic conveniently includes instructions on how to use the machine printed on the front.
Without boxing and packing material it weighs 20 pounds. Vintage Symphonic M2ROI tube reel to reel tape recorder made in england this British made Symphonic tape recorder has a two tone case. Since it is not perfect we must sell the Symphonic as is for repair. In testing the unit we found it plays tapes fine and the tone control works effectively.
Please review my photos as they are part of my. It needs an rca plug soldered on the cable so we could not test it. This may the way we hooked up the mic or it may be the machine. There is one small left front foot missing.
The interior is fairly clean and has a very basic look with standard controls. It records too but we had to use a mic with jumper cables since we had no rca plug mics.
Thetas good volume. It includes a nice looking Symphonic mic with a fold out stand. There are scratches on the areas where the knobs are. Please feel free to ask questions.
It also holds the full original instruction manual. It sounded like it wan't grounded because we heard hum.
