2. High-Quality Sound: Roberts is known for producing radios with excellent sound quality, and this model is no exception.
3. Recording Capability: The built-in microphone allows for recording directly onto a cassette tape.
4. Retro Aesthetic: The design of the R770 LQQK has a classic, retro look that may appeal to those who appreciate vintage technology.
Cons:1. Limited Connectivity: As it is a traditional cassette player, it does not have modern connectivity options like Bluetooth or USB.
2. Tape Availability: Cassette tapes are becoming increasingly rare, which could make it difficult to find new tapes for recording or purchasing pre-recorded tapes.
3. Size: The device may be larger than some modern portable audio devices, making it less practical for travel.
Conclusion:The Roberts Radio R770 LQQK Recorder with Akai Cassette Player is a unique and high-quality device that offers a nostalgic listening experience. However, its limited connectivity and size may deter some potential buyers. If you are a fan of vintage technology, appreciate the sound quality of Roberts Radio, and can work around the limitations of cassette tapes, this product could be a great addition to your collection. On the other hand, if you prioritize modern connectivity and portability, you may want to consider other options.
I plugged it in and played a tape and it works. Happy buying.
For shipping. Very clean machine. Buyer to pay 60.
Been kept in a air conditioned smoke free environment. I would recommend though that it be oiled. Owned by a church it had been serviced on a regular basis when ever they would have there other audio equipment serviced. It is missing the two rubber reel holders and the cover that goes over the tape head.
Case also is in fine condition with no problems with the hatches. This is the one you want, you wont be disappointed.
