Details:
The reel that is on the machine has some recording on it but the machine seems to play to fast and is not slowing down when the switch is used. The picture is somewhat dark to tell but you can see on the back of the battery compartment there was a small amount of melting. It is still solid and sturdy and quite attractive.
The player itself came with a microphone, ear piece and telephone cup for recording from your telephone receiver end. The microphone is needed in order to record and I no longer have one in the house. There is still plenty of room for the batteries and it does run. Overall the unit is in great shape for its age probably boxed and stored since the 1970's.
Lloyds model no. This offer is for a 1960's transistor tape recorder. I didn't want to pull the piece out for fear of damaging the battery compartment. Tp 417 in the original packing foam and box with the manual and warranty card.
