The voltage is currently set to 110 see the arrow. Volume/tone button can be touchy but once set to your liking they are no issue. Controls appear to do their jobs. It probably will need servicing at some point.
The fast forward and rewind work, though sometimes they struggle if its been on for a while stop/send tape flying little, not sure that's just how these are. Haven't tested recording feature or others it may have. Tape heads were cleaned but obviously are quite rusty. I am no expert on the quality of output, but it sounds quite good to me and clear.
The tapes were recordings made so not original mass produced studio. It plays quite beautifully please watch the video, only 5 inch reel to tape sets I could get my hands on quickly. What a wonderful unit this is. Please also be careful with the power cord, it has this pull out tab thing that can spark.
