I placed in the tape shown and using a output cord, plugged it into video input on my stereo Mr mil sap came alive. The needle displays work and FWD, stop play fine. I cannot remember if that is normal or not. Vintage Akai CR-81D 8 track stereo player recorder japan works.
Because I cannot test all the features 1 am listing it as parts. The sound was crisp and clean. If you want a unit to simply play those oldies, this will work fine, I know. The tape door is missing.
This is what I know. I did not have anyway to check the record feature, so don't know if that works, but when hit button, red light comes on and needles jump. The appearance is clean. Sorry Ronnie track not included today.
