The hand crank that screws into side winds mechanism moves reels to record and play. Notice this one has little cranks on each reel so you can rewind and fast forward manually.
When you start the machine you'll see top pinch roller turning and once push bottom one back up into place against it tape, both reels will begin to move pulling slack out of tape speed is nice continuous for quite a long time before runs down. Specifically designed to operate with suitable accessories at the north pole, equator, in African jungles or Sahara desert. May be used on the back of an elephant, camel, in a jeep, jet, or submarine.
This thing is a ghost as far finding even another photo of one. The case has a few imperfections from age and use as you can see. Items not paid for within 24 hours will have a 2nd chance offer sent to the next highest bidder, and or be re-listed. A nice one and hard to find addition any collection.
5 volt batteries that has two snaps on the top to power tube Amplifier inside-see photos, and then there are three other spaces look like battery spots also. I've only wound it carefully a few times as I didn't want to over wind. There are no batteries that come with it, so obviously the only thing I can check is winding mechanism and it works well.
Before starting, you pull the bottom pinch roller down and out of way. Its face is a nice hammered gray paint finish and you'll not be disappointed, impossibly hard to find machine.
Thanks in advance and for looking at our listing. Take advantage of our no reserve offer and don't let this one get away.
