Its been stored with a cover over it for at least 40 years or more. This item is a vintage Rca victor cartridge table recorder i'm not sure the exact model i'm trying to find where it says that but according to research online I think its model yhd 42e, its in pretty good shape outside case is a bit dusty but easily to clean.
When I plugged it in the tape fast forwarded and rewound and worked normally the speakers appear to work as they should. There might be some things on it that need adjustment or replace although it looks fine to me but i'm not an expert. I plugged it in and it turned on there's instructions and 3 tapes doesn't seem to be anything on them but I could be wrong I only checked one it appears that everything that should be there is there.
