This item is in pristine cosmetic condition, with a nice polished metal chrome panel, and a good 8 out of 10 mechanical condition. It can also be seen in some commemorative books on the series, including thunderbirds the vault, by Marcus earn.

Being small, this was a perfect fit for the scale of the puppets, where it appeared to be a full sized tape deck. It has not broken and I was able to use it OK and it is very hard to see the very close up pic of the knob. I have tested it in play and record, and there are only 2 issues there is a slight bump in an internal roller which causes the tape to flap and slip periodically as it passes the head, causing occasional audio breaks in the playback, especially as the makeup reel gets full. So it will not detract from collector display value.
