Details:

This was run 6 hours after final adjustments, sounds good on all speeds. This one will include a 7 plastic take-up reel, as well the original functioning rubber reel holders, and Philco microphones that work good. I have had another one of these since new, and never understood this cost-saving idea, but it works.

I have been servicing these for many years, this should provide you with much enjoyment. These Philco r-rs had one oddity of having only VI meter, and it works on record. The vinyl case is pretty good shape, one white mark on lid I could not remove see photos front panel very good, few scratches.

Up for sale is a rare vintage Philco ford model TRR-76BK two head reel to tape recorder. According to my measurements, high frequency response it is still good 16k, and the heads are in excellent shape, I didn't have re-lap them, just polished, damaged, aligned. I just finished servicing this machine which included new belts, motor run capacitor, meter bulb, fully cleaned, adjusted, re-lubricated, heads aligned demagnetized, and tested.

This has a built in audio amplifier with 4x6 side-firing speakers, speakers are switchable, so you can use the rca out jacks like deck-only machine. Play fidelity is pretty good, record just okay, probably needs a total recap, but I already have more into this than will ever get.

The capstan has a threaded cap to remove sleeve that you use for speed, holder and is between reels near top of front panel.
