You are buying on a portable unit,sold in as in condition, cosmetics are good considering the age it's missing the power cord ,my husband is an electrician so we were able to test it, it powers up and functions when play was pressed that is as far as we could test without actual tape reels also, I am not the original owner and don't know much about electronics it's worth saving items from that era.
