Details:
I bought this recorder on to transfer some tapes I had. Also tested in record mode successfully. The unit has some wear on the guides and heads, typical for a machine of this age, but, as I say, sounds great.
I couldn't believe how good these 35 year old tapes sounded. Frequency response is good, tape handling superb, speed rock solid. Comes with nab reel adapters and 10 metal apex reel as shown. I replaced both belts, new pinch roller, and lubed all moving parts with lithium grease this year.
It is missing one of the 4 back feet only an issue if you plan to use it on it's back. All the jumpers are there for the NR jacks in back. It performed flawlessly.
You can see that the transport controls are not worn down, and the wood sides are in great shape, too.
