Due to nit being able to fully test this item is being sold for parts or repair. I am not fully able to test this item.

May be missing one battery holder. Great piece of vintage Sony equipment. The battery compartment is corroded.

When you push the selector forward while it is on the base the breakage indicates the battery is good. See all pictures as they are a part of my. When you take the unit off the base nothing seems to work.

Here is what I know when recorder is connected to the base the quick charge light come on.
