While not as popular as teach and Akai, the sansui sd 7000 is built similar to the teach chassis, with direct drive reel motors and a belt drive capstan motor. We love working on this deck, the mechanism slides out separately from the electronics for super easy servicing the pinch roller is in great shape, overall the deck shows little use. No aluminum strips needed as other auto reverse decks. We back our decks, and answer any tech support questions before or after the sale.

Our Camacho t100 tape analyzer only goes to 20khz. The big meter lights are fine, the meters are solid and are balanced, as are the gains and outputs.

Up for sale is one great condition sansui sd track 7 reel to reel tape recorder. The side wood panels are fine as shown. The wood case is in great shape as shown, and all of the knobs have the aluminum inserts intact as shown.

Solenoid controlled, and the auto reverse can be triggered by a tone sensor that is built into the deck. This deck has and UPS speeds, the standard consumer stereo speeds. The deck is flat to 20khz at thanks to the fantastic condition of the heads.
