I purchased this Open reel with the intention of keeping it, but being that I am running out space, forced to sell rare and amazing Vintage Pioneer. It comes with original pads, Reels, Original cord, What its not A perfect functioning unit, needs some maintenance, I have tested the Play/Record heads, but they do appear very clean, But Not certain as No Play Occurred Manual and literature is Also included are Adapter Pads, Capstan does also to engage. The Unit itself Powers on, Rewinds and Fast Forwards, But does not play properly. Meters do light up, Counter does not appear to function, I have taken the liberty remove any of screws for a belt inspection as I am selling unit is.

Buttons are responsive as is motor, Unit does not play, I've connected the unit to my Pre amplifier, and No Obvious play occurred, When button was pressed, Play began Occur then bogged down a stop, Audible Output established, What it An outstandingly well kept version of rare Pioneer reel deck, which in Need Possible belts, Did explore further, appears need its 50 Year old maintenance package desperately. In Good cosmetic condition, Light Scratching present, wood panels have light wear from Years of handling Buttons are all strongly affixed and not heavily used, Case appears to its original luster, with very white hazing, but still shines like new. Also Back does have all for of its Wedge Spacers, One Was Removed and was repaired the Photos, Sold AS/IS Certain to become a Cherished Open Reel that discerning Audiophile who appreciates an original Component.
