It is made by matsushita electrical co. From 1970 in japan. This is a national RS-255S early age vintage boombox. A little wear on the bottom edge of player, but it is still in really nice condition overall.

I also did a really good cleaning inside and out. Everything functions well including the meter lights. It has ac power cord or will take 6 batteries. I changed the main belt.

The volume has some slight static when changing sound, but stays clear once it is positioned. The extra speakers that encase tape recorder are detachable and have around 3 feet of cable to create a surround sound like capability, or left on boombox.
