Details:

No ac cord, takes 12 AA batteries. Made in japan, leather case w strap. It seemed stuck, although the tape itself does seem to move freely x while in case.

Neither item tested, they are as-is as well. I'm not sure what the problem is, however - I did have all top shelf AA batteries, some were cheaper ones so that may been a factor, also no idea how old tape is in machine and if its good or. That means it might work if you can figure out or fix not - is returnable.

Or maybe its just broken and doesn't work right, so I am selling this as-is. Working questions aside, a nice machine in condition, very clean, no corrosion the battery compartment. Plug in microphone with stand and an earpiece - the jack end has come off of it but is included. I tested this with batteries - the tape moved one way when turned it on but slowly.
