I brought this unit up on my Mauriac slowly and powered it. I also tested all the tubes on my Hickok 539c and they new. Shipping weight is 30 lbs.
All knobs turn as they should. This offer is for one vintage Magnecorder type PT6-S5J preamplifier equalizer amplifier recorder. That is all the testing I did on this unit, as am not a reel to tech, nor do have correct cables test functions.
I use global shipping for foreign sales. I would change the electrolytic before using. I removed the bottom plate to inspect inside which is clean.
It appears the tone caps have all been changed at some point with sangs types, and others. Removed from the rack of a ham operator along with 2 Magnecorder reel to reels also listed on separate offers. Tube compliment is: two 5881 6l6gb, 12sj7, 6sl7gt, 5y3, and a 5879 preamp.
