It appears that all functions, other than the tape counter, worked. Here is the Panasonic reel to reel three head stereo tape deck, model rs 768us,made in japan in the 70's and well regarded by those who know.

I did limited testing as I lacked any tape other than a 3 reel with 1/4 tape. I consider my testing to be very limited and so i'm offering this deck as is,for overall cleanup by a pro.

Cosmetically, the deck is in excellent shape with very minor wear to the wood and a few very minor scratches to the front panel. Tape speed can be switched, the VI meters work, and play, rewind, fast forward, etc.

Nonetheless, I was able to play the tape and got stereo output from an attached receiver amplifier. All work as expected. Includes the owner's manual and the audio cables.
