Let's be honest pieces like this are very rare and just not out there as much anymore. The piece is in amazing condition especially for gifts age I am unsure exactly how old it but have no problem saying well over 30 years could be. The piece is almost mint with nothing but a few scuffs, little coloring, and 3 bolts nuts have some surface rust all of this hardly noticeable look at pictures you be judge in no way affects function.
The piece is made with high quality materials for durability and toughness which why it has lasted so well. Truthfully I have seen a lot of different stuff and multiple reel-to-reels this is by far the best one, physically functionally.
The quality is apparent with one look and feel of piece especially by weight, being over 40 pounds itself. These older pieces were made with the UT-most attention to detail and craftsmanship. With a little TLC this could last another years. This would make a great addition to any vintage electronic reel-to-reel collection or piece use if you know the correct way do so I however not Lola.
