It has been tested using a new TD tape and everything is working. The only thing is when rewinding it seems sluggish. For sale is a vintage Century mark iv solid state cartridge tape recorder. It does have a battery door I just didn't show in the picture as was only showing that never had any leakage.

It comes with original instruction manual and the microphone on off switch.
