Every function works well and the built in FM antenna works great pulling in stations without any kind of external antenna. It's a nice warm sound. Taking into consideration the age of this receiver, it rates a 9 out of 10. There were 3 major manufacturers that made stereo units for Lafayette and they are sans, pioneer and lux man.
Its a perfect match for the Lafayette criterion speakers I also have in another listing. This unit is very clean with no scratches and all lights work as well as the tuning meter and all switches. This puts out a clean 27 watts per channel 8 ohms.
One of the most underrated stereo brands, this is a vintage Lafayette lr 310a receiver made in japan from the 70's in excellent condition. The components that are in these receivers are the same as the major brands.
