I installed a set of batteries and a reel of tape and the unit records, plays and rewinds great. This little recorder sure did bring back some old memories from when I was a kid and playing with these and making futile attempts at recording favorite songs off the radio some good fun back then but these little recorders were not adequate for recording music. I attempt to describe the items in my bids to the best of my ability.

If there are any flaws or problems with the listed items, I will note it accordingly. Included in this package is the recorder, cover, a working crystal mic, a reel of tape, an empty reel and manual.

There are absolutely no battery leaks, the plastics are OK with a few scuff marks but no breaks or cracks. Given the good condition of this unit I suspect this guy was stored away in a drawer and saw very little use. I only add the actual shipping costs.

I wish I had the original box. Of course this is an example of those little toy type recorders from the 1960's 3 reels, simple rim drive transport not capstan tape drive, battery operated, etc size 11 x 9 x 6, weight 4 lbs.

Please message me with any questions about this bid. Anyway, this guy is in good condition. No shipping redirects. Also the unit was not left in the play mode so there are no bumps in the rubber reel rims.

Although all of the functions have been checked and are fully operational, this unit is sold completely as is due to age. Sometimes the messages get redirected.
