Records and plays back fine but sometimes the play switch needs to be moved several times before it activates reel, may slipping belt. Both internal speakers working. Vintage Akai gx M-11 reel to tape recorder needs servicing. Nice machine for restoration as everything works just needs to be gone through cleaned new belt tire, etc.
Both meters work, illumination works. Volume controls are very scratchy when turned. The right hand spindle reel lock needs a new c-clip. Nice overall shape.
