Details:
The track selector knob is a good match and fits, but not original. I was able to play a tape and playback is steady judging purely by ear, speed correct. Both capstan motors are strong and VI meters working with good lights.
Nice cosmetics, aside from the missing well cover as has a broken stem on knob. Likely a capacitor or resistor related issue as these decks are at that age. Pinch roller is in good condition and free of slipping providing tape contact to the head. Please review photos carefully for cosmetic details.
Deck has lost its high end during playback and sounds very dull. Looking at the unit capstan on right side grinds.
What you see in the photos is will receive. Deck mechanically seems to be working well.
