The deck does have some scratches, nicks blemishes here and there. For your purchasing consideration an Akai GX-1730D-SS surround sound quad stereo tape deck, its working however the left reel table needs to be replaced it works but takes some skill put tapes on and take them off I gently used pliers please see picture of damaged tip.
