Plays on all 3 speeds but does not record. Do not expect to buy the item and force me ship it you.

You pay them I do not.

You might find the 2nd method of shipping is much cheaper. When listening to a tape through the built in speaker sound sounds like it is coming out of big hollow room.

I thought it sounded OK on a factory recorded speed tape but the little slow to me was listening 1940s band that am not familiar with which had music begin.

If that means the item costs more to ship due dimensional weight then is way it tape counter does work. There are directions inside the lid and you also get original manual 1 take up reel.
