The Beocord 1800 benefited from the same silicon transistors and die-cast chassis as 24 was capable of outstanding performance when used with quality equipment low noise tape. At Mid Century Sacramento, we source, restore, and carefully curate iconic 20th century/mid century modern designs to time capsule condition. What you see is what get. Underneath, the connections to amplifier were duplicated in RCA phono sockets-to fill space left but absence of loudspeaker perhaps.

Unlike the previous Beocord 1500 De Luce, a headphone socket was provided for monitoring purposes, and sliding controls similar to those of more expensive version were fitted. It comes in rosewood but was also offered teak. This piece was imported from Denmark. In most respects it was similar to the Beocord 24 though an important difference that offered in both two and four-track versions, two-track version having extra head for replay of recordings.

Dust cover intact. Our services include staging, restoration, and reupholster.

May need some work or repair. Comes with some marked within the metal platter. The piece comes with the original manual and dust cover. It was perhaps the finest of all B O tape recorders, though does not seem to have sold in particularly large numbers.

Due to the European plugs, I have no way test this. The Beocord 1800 was offered as a simplified version of the 24 for those who did not require power amplifiers or mixing facilities. In this role, it effectively replaced the Beocord 1500 De Luce.
