Tested on pre-recorded 7 reel and it is working. Looks new now. Here is one nice bulk eraser for reel tapes by Sony, the BE-6.
Well cared for item from an estate. In orig box with instruction manual Japanese and all packing cardboard. Shipping FedEx insured by distance from fl to try and save you. Nice condition from original owner.
Sony quality. It erased all the orig material using for 40 sec per side and rotating reel slowly. I removed 95 of scratches from plastic surface with nous 2 polish after pics were taken.
Looks to take 3, 5, 7, and perhaps up 10 reels. Heavy item is 13 lbs unpacked. Creates a very powerful magnetic field and medium hum. They will not erase on a bulk eraser or 'non-ee' capable machine.
