Otherwise this is a clean good working recently dealer serviced unit. That is the reason why studer Revox reel to decks command a lot of money. I rarely use that function so have not found it is important. Studer Revox reel to decks do sound a lot of better than the best from japan and apex.
Everything works except the recording volume control sliding plastic tip knob was damaged in shipping. This for sale unit is in within the affordable priced range and dealer recently serviced, so not miss opportunity. Nice vintage Revox B700 2 track reel to deck recently serviced and works. The volume control is still working but plastic tip was broke.
