New flux magnetic head stack and guides with less than 25 hours use for audiophiles, this atr has been re-wired direct out to tape pre-amp. This is, for all intents and purposes, a new machine. Atr services restoration build of this machine included the complete tear down an original ATR-102 machine, rebuilding power supply unit, capstan and reeling motors, wiring harness inspection replacement tachometer assembly with a new, high-precision rubber part.

The top deck voltage regulator and mad output transistors were also replaced. Maintaining the other machines can become a frustrating experience because of lack parts and technicians capable working on them.

All mechanical and cosmetic components of this deck were completely refurbished or replaced with new parts to be per original factory spec when built by atr services. This ATR-102 includes the following features: - fully stripped down and all components replaced with new or refurbished rebuilt Ampex master recording 2-track tape machine that operates at 7.

As stated above, this machine is wired for an outboard pre-amp recommended by the tape project ultimate in audio fidelity.
