The wood side panels do have scratches form age. It is still a teach because almost all the parts inside are teach.

Up for bids is a absolutely gorgeous vintage Ampex reel to reel. Most of the most beautiful parts are being used quickly as I build. Sound wonderful.

That is why I stand behind everything money back.

Teach built these machines for Ampex for years before Ampex decided they would redesign them self and change the appearance.

I pride myself on how well the job is done the heads on this machine dont have no bad spots or scratches but does have scratches from age. This machine was resurrected from the gone dead pile. And with the accessories the weight goes over the allowable amount.

And have a stock of brand new factory Ampex parts and factory books that give me all the information on specification and all the analyzers and meters and alignment tapes. It was built in the 70 's but it is today a new machine the head stack cover best I can do. I probably spend 60 hrs plus on most of the items I sell.
