The tape does seem to have most or all of it's leader. Comes as pictured with box. As they say a picture is worth a tho sounds words.

I was not able to test this tape as I do not have a compatible reel to reel right now. 5 aluminum take up reel. Check the pics for more detail regarding condition. Overall condition is good with minor wear and blames mostly to the box.
