5mv mic output This listing is for a used three motor auto reverse cassette deck from Akai. Other Akai 20x 200d 20sm. All said this is a wonderful example of Akai's vintage decks.
As with all vintage audio equipment a little preventative maintenance goes a long way.
Track system auto reverse, 4 track, 2 channel, stereo monaural system heads 1 x record playback, 1 x erase, 1 x bias motor 2 x reel drive, 1 x capstan reel size up to 7 inch reel equalization nab tape speeds Ipswich and flutter. Here's an ad, it, and the deck, are believed to be from the '70's specifications courtesy of finking.
Record playback worked on all four tracks with clean, distortion free audio using an external amp UPS frequency response 30hz to 26khz UPS signal to noise ratio 50 db input 50mv line, 5mv din,. There is some residue on the capstan roller, so I would imagine a thorough cleaning of the tape path would be in order.
