That confirmed the belt was bad I am selling it as is. That turned into a mess of confusion. I got this bright idea to order a belt and fix it when I opened it I found the old belt disintegrated. I did power it up when I got it before attempting to fix it and the lights came on the forward and reverse worked but not the play.
I purchased this at a sale from the original owner. I put a bunch of loose screws parts in a baggy.
He told me the belt was broken and that was the only thing wrong with it. Used and not working with original owners manual a 4000s player and a 4010s deck. Needless to say I am selling it for parts with a brand new belt that I couldn't install. No power cord I powered it up with an extension cord I have and will include doesn't fit it very good but got it powered up.
