All other moving parts move and turn without issue so far as I can tell its quite clean, especially the interior, but due to aforementioned issues being sold as-is with possibility that it may require light repair, most definitely requiring a proper power supply. It does look to be in good shape however there are some scuffs and scratches the exterior as shown, also record button is currently stuck pressed position.

Other methods of shipping are available upon request. This might simply be something that needs power to kick it back up, but I can't certain. Ampex A121 reel to 1/4 tape recorder untested, needs power supply this is an offer on.
