Unfortunately I don't have head phone that fit the plug so couldn't hear sound. This Teac will play the small 3 reels of tape all way up to larger 7.
The player looks to be in great condition for its age. It records and plays back with superb frequency response fidelity. I ran a tape through it and the needles moved to music also forwarded reversed without problem.
And has all the original packing foam. This machine uses standard 1/4 tape, and records plays back in track stereo which means you can flip the reels over play other side. This is strictly a deck.
Or use the auto reverse feature in 2 channel stereo mode. This will connect to virtually any type of stereo that has either line, maxillary or tape rca input jacks.
