When tested, all functions worked as they should. To work either way.All switches and pots have been cleaned with exit. Tape heads were also cleaned. This unit is designed. Model number 701250-2. Originally in a Magnavox top of the line console, hence lack wood en case.

Tape deck sounded excellent on playback as well.
