Due to its age and the nature of old electronics I am going to sell it as is all functions may or may not be I believe this is a tube reel to reel. This unit is large heavy the outer case measures 25x23x13 not counting latches.
As I mentioned foot control does work as well but the cord is peeling flaking off rubber. I did plug this unit in and put a tape on it, it does play and produces sound. I think this unit can be shipped as shown without cardboard box. I think it may have been used for military applications it come in a solid wood and metal case.
This thing is awesome and large. I did here a sound like something may be rubbing coming from inside of unit. I am not sure to adjust all sounds, it has controls for fast and Normal speed along with increase and decrease. But as I mentioned everything appears to be working.
