Because I was unable to test, this is being sold as. Applicable machines are scully 280, mci etc. The head is in wonderful condition with no visible signs of wear.

The dc resistance was checked and all is in original tolerance of 5 ohms. I ran across this lot several months ago and have sold quite a few of these heads. One used Nortronics erase head with mount.
This head came from national public radio NPR surplus extras.
